Posted February 10, 2020 13:04:24The latest version of Android phones from OPPOs are the OASIS X5 and the OOPS-7, which are both basically identical to each other in terms of hardware, software, and specs.
But, they also come with a few important differences.
For one, they are the only devices in the Android world that run on the same Snapdragon 808 CPU, which makes them one of the few Android phones that can run on a quad-core processor.
The OOPS phones also run a custom ROM, which is based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and which can be downloaded directly from the OOPs servers.OOPS phones can also be unlocked, but this comes at a cost: a microSD slot and a USB-C port on the back of the phone.
These are a major sticking point for some users, though the OOMP is working on an unlockable OOPS phone that uses the same CPU.OOMP also announced today that it will be introducing a free phone with a microUSB port in the back.
This will be called the OOS-5 and it will have a microHDMI port and a microAES slot.
It is expected to launch sometime in the fourth quarter of 2020.
We’ll have a full review of the new OOPS X5 soon.
The phone is expected on the OPN and OOPS sites in early April.
